At the moment there is no laser equipment which has been FDA approved at completely removing hair permanently. The hair has 3 stages of growth, the growing phase (Anagen), the resting phase (Catagen) and the shedding phase (Teleogen), and each time for the treatment to be effective the hair needs to be in the growing phase. Because the hairs are always at different stages this is why it is very difficult to remove the hair completely.

Most people will see an 80-90% reduction in hair growth and hair that does grow will be much finer and lighter in colour.
