Bleaching

Bleaching the hair is not actually a way of removing unwanted hair; it just helps to disguise it. Hair is lightened so it is not as obvious.

Bleaching can be carried out in your own home; bleaching kits usually contain a bleach mixture and an activator powder. These should be mixed together in even quantities, applied to the skin and left for up to 10 minutes to develop. Before bleaching any area of the skin, a patch test should be done 24 hours prior to assess the skins sensitivity.

Treatment will need to be carried out every 2-4 weeks as the hair grows out and begins to darken.

Bleaching is not really suitable for coarse hair and skin may become irritated over time so this method shouldn’t really become a long term solution.
